Teen Development in Youth With and Without Autism Spectrum Disorder

Pubertal development contributes to significant physical, psychological, hormonal, and social changes. Our goal is to examine stress and arousal across pubertal development in children with and without ASD to identify potential risk factors, treatment targets, and therapeutic strategies.

Participant Criteria
Boys and girls ages 8 to 16 years with autism OR typical development.

Compensation:

  • Up to $100 annually and a letter with test results per completed visit

Visit Requirements

  • Psychological testing and exam, 2-3 hours
  • Social interaction, physiological measures, and EEG task, 2-3 hours
  • Follow-up assessments 1 time a year for a total time commitment of 4 years.
